Find the broken sword and three shards, collect four armour materials, and finish the rituals that turn restored equipment into its enhanced form.
The easily missed step in both equipment chains comes after the blacksmith: the restored sword and crafted armour are not their final enhanced forms. Follow the remaining ritual objectives. Plan this as a substantial equipment questline with crypts, monsters, and dangerous camps, rather than an effortless first-night pickup.
If you have only just left the prologue, start with the early legendary route.
Start at the cathedral well by night
The supplied video approaches the well near Swartrau cathedral at night. Investigate the body and thief's note, then follow the Night Terrors and A Monk and a Saint objectives. Finding a sword shard first can also begin the wider sword chain; a different starting order is not a reason to restart.
Use nighttime traversal to reach the roof entrance. Inspect the relevant symbol in the cathedral painting, then return toward the well and crypt route. If progress stalls, confirm the journal registered the symbol.
Save before the crypt fight. Defeat Mihai, collect the broken sword, and confirm the objective update. The broken sword alone is not enough for the final weapon.

The relocated shard is inside a camp with dangerous soldiers. The video distracts them using another creature, but enemy behavior can vary. Upgrade your main weapon, prepare healing, and return later if the level gap is too large.
Inside the tent, inspect the small container on the barrels and confirm the shard in the journal. Check after each pickup so that you do not reach the smith with an unnoticed missing part.
Restore the sword, then temper it
Take all three shards and the broken sword to Nareh near the Uriashi Hermitage. Check the inventory and objective after each handover. The video's suggestion to submit parts separately is not treated here as a verified bug fix; it is simply a useful way to confirm receipt.
After receiving the restored purple sword, follow the smith's ritual directions, clear the approach, and locate the red orb. Prepare before starting the trial. Finishing the tempering sequence produces the Imbued Sword of St. Mihai.
Arbiter armour: the letter and four materials
In the supplied run, the courier appears in Swartrau after the player reaches the relevant high Infamy rank, beginning A Bulwark Against Darkness. If it has not appeared, inspect Court progress, received letters, and the journal before repeatedly asking the smith to craft.

The Quicksilver route enters a dream sequence that also connects to an early ending. If you want to continue the equipment quest, follow its investigation and escape clues rather than endlessly repeating the loop. Preserve a save before the tower.
Finish the armour enhancement
Handing in the materials produces the crafted armour stage. Complete the subsequent ritual to obtain the enhanced set. Confirm the current form, appropriate healing quickslots, and equipped abilities before starting.
A partial set suggests missing handovers. A complete purple set suggests an unfinished ritual, not a mysterious fifth material. Final values depend on equipment level; the displayed recording is not a universal endgame stat sheet.
